Hello everyone!
Today I want to talk with you about the last task of this semester which was an inteview with a character that we want with the help of AI. To be honest, when I heard that we will have an assignment by using AI, I was pretty sure that we will write an essay by using ChatGPT. But that was not the case. Instead of giving an essay task with AI, our insructor gave us a really enjoyful task. We were supposed to use an AI tool named "Magic School" and chat with a historical figure, author, or story character. Just as its name Magic School actually does magic. Until I heard from my instructor, I didn't know that we can do something like that.
We completed this task with my pair Nilüfer, and we choose to interview with Jack London. Because both of us love Jack London's books a lot. Actually we also read some of his books together and then we talked about those books for ours. When we read London's books we realized that he uses the nature and dogs a lot. Although we searched it before, we wanted to hear the answers from "London's mouth". Firstly, we made the interview secondly, we wrote a report which summarizes the interview. We sent the report to Magic Scgool for a feedback and finally, we made some revisions to our report. If you are wondering our interview with Jack London, you can click the links below:

Magic School was easy to use ( If you want to see the tool you can click here.) but, at first it bugged a lot. Except that, we didn't encounter any poblems while making the interview.
In my opinion using AI, really helps both teachers and students. For example, I as a university student use AI in so many areas. Also I believe that when I become a teacher I will continue to using AI tools. In deed, AI is the reality of the new world, and I think integrating AI into learning and teaching is something inevitable.
I believe that teachers can give exciting and beneficial tasks like the task that our instuctor gave us, or language learners can speak with AI tools to practice etc.
All in all, AI has so many advantages when it is used properly. And I'm pretty sure that I will use AI when I become a teacher.
