Today I'll talk about the task that we've given lately which is creating a podcast.
I and my pair Nilüfer chose to create a vox-pop. For the ones who don't know what a vox-pop is, it is kind of quick interviews about a specific question. Our question was : "What is a song or movie that brings back memories for you? "
We asked this question to total 14 people. And after getting responses, we realized that almost all of the people chose a song or movie that reminds them their childhood. It shows us clearly that people miss their childhood. For me, it is not hard to understand because if I think about a song or movie that brings back memories for me, I would definitely choose a song or movie that reminds me of my childhood too.
Let's talk about the process a little bit. First of all, because we were in the bayram break while we were doing the task we had to make interviews seperately with my pair. Also,while editing the answers we had some troubles, and I and Nilüfer got really nervous because for a couple of minutes we thought that we won’t be able to accomplish this task. But at the end, we managed to accomplish the task and, I as a teacher candidate believe that this task was fun and benefical for us. And I think that when I become a teacher, I may give a podcast assigment according to their level, age etc.
